i cease to understand the idea of giving ‘gas money’ to friends who drive me anywhere. i mean, i understand gas is expensive, if we’re taking a long trip it does eat into a tank of gas but really it seems excessive.

i have a car, i will drive you next time, i’m not skipping town anytime soon, all will be evened out my friend. you’ve got more money than me and you would be taking this trip with or without me in the car (usually) so is it more of a fee for my company then? am i really that bad of a companion that i’ve got to pay you to hang around in a car with me for an hour or so.

alright so this is about a specific case with a specific person, who’s acting like a douche.
